Ideally, both classroom Kumu and Kumu ‘Ohana are able to coordinate this learning process together.  We recognize that traditionally, Mākua (parents) played a very important role in all aspects of the lives of their keiki.  What (and how) the keiki learn always impacts the ‘ohana.  Our intention is to support the bonding that occurs when multi-generational learning is practiced.
